fromJamaica.com is a project to showcase, and make publicly available representations of creative expressions manifested by Jamaican hands and minds.

This site will house an extensive music and art store featuring numerous independent Jamaican artists and artists from smaller, less well funded studios.

fromJamaica.com was originally conceptualized after lengthy conversations with the now late Pauline Gray. At the time, late 2000, she was CEO of the Jamaica Exporters Association. Marc DM approached her with the concept, but it was way ahead of its time, and many of the tools needed to achieve the task were not yet available. Mrs. Gray of course lended her support in the way of some very useful information.

Fast Forward to 2007, where all the tools are readily available, and the opportunities are endless. We will attempt to present what we believe to be the best showcase of talent that Jamaica has to offer.

Unfortunately, due to legal issues, we won't be able to bring you everything, but we will bring as much as we are allowed.
